Jack

Meet Jack 🖤

Jack is a 1.5 yr old, 49 lb handsome black terrier/Border Collie mix who was found as a stray in Kilgore with his sister, Jill. He’s incredibly smart, athletic, and full of personality!

Jack is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever his person is. He’s eager to please, loves attention, and his favorite place in the world is curled up in your lap getting pets. He also loves car rides and would make an amazing adventure or travel buddy.

✔️ Good with dogs
✔️ Loves people
✔️ Crate & leash trained
✔️ Very smart and learns quickly
✔️ Athletic, playful, affectionate & goofy
✔️ Food motivated and obedient
✔️ Loves toys and running

Jack will need a secure 6-foot privacy fence — this clever boy can scale a 4-foot chain-link fence in seconds! He’s not trying to run away, he just wants to find his people.

He’s new to house training, but with how intelligent and eager to please he is, he should pick it up quickly. He tested heartworm positive and has started slow kill treatment.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s equal parts adventure partner and snuggle bug, Jack may be your perfect match. 🐾
