In the community
At Angel Paws Advocates, everything we do comes from the heart. Saving and transporting dogs and cats isn’t just our mission—it’s our passion. We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community and honored to be recognized for the work we love. Whether it’s an award, a speaking opportunity, or simply a kind word from someone whose life has been touched by a rescue, each moment reminds us why we do this.

Angel Paws Advocates was awarded a generous $100,000 grant from Smith County on February 13th, 2024. This will spay and neuter, administer rabies & microchip 1,333 animals that reside in Smith County and the entire grant has been used. If you would like to help continue our live saving work please see our donation button. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to spread the word about the importance of spaying and neutering pets. By doing so, we can work together to control the pet population and ensure the well-being of animals in our community. Read here.

The Smith County Commissioners Court approved $100,000 in American Rescue Plan Act fund for a free spay and neuter program available to all residents of Smith County.
