HAPPY TAILS

The most rewarding part of what we do and our “why” is getting our angels into loving forever homes. Often when we are fostering an animal or nursing them back to health to get them ready for placement, we grow very attached to them and its difficult to let them go but it is more than worth it to save their life. We have created a private group where our fosters, transporters, and adopted families can keep up with each other and share their stories. It is also a great space for advice and feedback as our animals are transitioning into their new families. To gain access you must be currently connected to APA, please click here (insert facebook group) to request access to our Happy Tails network.

This is Hobbs. We don’t have any before photos for this guy, but a great “after”. He was a stray living in the woods & APA was called to help coax him out. With the rescues they find living abandoned or in wooded areas it often can take days for them to build trust for the animals to be comfortable enough to get close to them. Hobbs was placed into a foster home until he was ready for transport & has clearly made himself quite comfortable with his family.

This is Etta. She was found in a dumpster at the Houston airport, filthy & starving. She let us bathe her even though she was scared to death. She has been one of the sweetest and most loving animals that we have had come through APA . She is very mellow & laid back & extremely loyal. She is living a very cozy and loving life with her new family & 3 kiddos that she adores.
